Discovering Partners, Generating Community and Connecting for Results
Inaugural Event • September 27-30, 2007
The Imagine-Nation Conference brings together two groups: adults who are already at work in their communities, generating and growing organizations designed to shape an inclusive future for their city AND high school youth who are tomorrow’s leaders, who can co-create a powerful path for their communities and for the nation. The conference is delivered using Appreciative Inquiry, an organizational development process that capitalizes on the best of what is and provides a wide avenue for multi-generational and cross-cultural participation – everyone is welcome; every voice is honored.
The Imagine-Nation Conference is Thursday evening through Sunday morning and offers two unique parallel and interlocking conferences:
Designed for adults at work in their communities, making a difference, generating new or growing organizations intended to impact the life of the community. Space for 100 adults.
For high-school age youth. For young people committed to train themselves for leadership in order to make a difference in their chosen field. Space for 100 youth.
Adult or young person, you will leave this conference:
Vitally connected with other powerful people committed to making a difference in the world and clear which piece of the work is yours and who else is doing other pieces.
Able to inspire yourself and others about your vision and to engage everyone in inspirational projects
In touch with how to be passionate about what you’re passionate about, with what empowers, supports, and moves you
Knowing the world is exploding with possibilities.
